Staff

The staff at MCF/First Presbyterian's College Ministry are committed to reaching students for Christ and equipping them to serve. The staff members are David Felker, Sam Taaffe, and Marley Evans.

David was born in Tuscaloosa, AL, graduated high school in Fayetteville, AR, and graduated from Mississippi State University. Spending time in these college towns helped feed his unhealthy obsession with SEC sports, particularly football. David is now in his second year at Reformed Theological Seminary. Before moving to Jackson, he worked as the Youth Director at Grace Presbyterian Church in Starkville, MS for 3 years. David loves LOST, the Detroit Shock (WNBA), Settlers of Catan, and the wii. Contact him at 601-850-8650.

Sam just moved here from Oxford, MS, where he worked for two years as an intern with RUF at Ole Miss. He was born in Dublin, Ireland, and moved to the states with his family when he was four. From Nashville, he graduated college from the University of Georgia with degrees in History and Business, and just started at Reformed Theological Seminary. His hobbies include reading, prank calls, soccer, settlers of catan, lat pulldowns and losing to Felker at ping pong. Contact him at 769-233-4308.

Marley is no stranger to Millsaps. She began her collegiate career as a Major and was very involved in MCF, then later transferred and graduated with a Classics degree from Ole Miss. Marley and her husband, Bech, just returned from Lilongwe, Malawi where they taught for the last year at African Bible College Christian Academy. They loved their year in Malawi but are excited to be back in Jackson and working with MCF. Contact her at 601-720-5731.
